This was an assignment for my storyboarding class. We were asked to reinterpret the gluttony murder scene from the 1995 film “Se7en” with Brad Pit and Morgan Freeman replaced with Shaggy and Fred respectfully from the Scooby Doo series in a 70s cop style noir. We needed to turn the original murder victim into a clown who dies from consuming excessive amounts of frosting. And the big reveal was that in the bucket in where the murder victim vomited, there would be a big reveal of a joker card to reveal it was DC comic’s Joker who committed the murder. Original characters Shaggy and Fred belong to Warner Bros.
